Thousands Affected By Debt Collection Fraud

The New York State Attorney General's Office says more than 11,000 people in the Buffalo area and thousands more across the state had default judgments improperly filed against them. The state says a legal process service agency failed to notify them about court dates involving unpaid debt cases.
